Local rules for Golfklubben Storstrømmen

    Lane markings
White markings: Out of bounds
Red / yellow markings: Penalty areas
Blue markings: Areal under reparation
Green top: Area with no gambling

Track markings can be poles, plates and/or strips.

2. All yellow, red and blue markings, plates and distance and reference stones are non-movable obstacles. Rule 16.1

3. Out of bounds The boundary markings between hole 3 and hole 4 are only valid for play of hole 3. When playing all other holes, these stakes are non-movable obstacles. Rule 16.1

4. If a player does not know whether the ball is in the penalty area on hole 5, the player must, contrary to Rule 18.3a, play a provisional ball after one of the 3 relief options for a penalty area in Rule 17.1d. The provisional ball becomes the ball in play as normal under Rule 18.3, unless the original ball within 3 minutes search time;

    does not exist, or it has become a fact or almost certain that it is in the penalty area - then the provisional ball becomes the player's ball in play. is in the penalty area - then the player can choose to continue either with the original ball or with the provisional ball.

5. If a ball is in the penalty area on hole 10 (both lakes at the tee), hole 11 or hole 18, including when it is a fact or as good as certain that a ball that has not been found was left in the penalty area, the player has these mitigation options, each with one penalty stroke:

    Take relief under Rule 17.1 or As an additional option, drop the original ball or another ball in the drop zone.

The drop zone is a relief area under rule 14.3 (E1.1)

6. The saplings identified by support posts or pipes are no-play areas: If a player's ball lies anywhere on the court, except in a penalty area, and it rests on or touches such a tree, or such a tree is in the way of the player's stance or intended swing area, the player must take relief under Rule 16.1f.

7. When a ball is out of bounds or lost, the player with 2 penalty strokes according to Standard local rule E -5 (see notice in club/website) must drop a ball up to two club lengths inside the fairway of the hole, no closer to the hole than where the ball crossed OB the border or deemed lost. "Fairway" is grass in the general area, cut to fairway height or lower, incl. the tee areas of the hole.

8. The area defined by green-topped blue stakes to the left of the fairway on hole 4 is a no-play area to be treated as an abnormal course condition. Relief without penalty must be taken for nuisance from an area with a ban on playing according to Rule 16.1e. or 16.1f.

 

Access to the area is also prohibited, as indicated by the sign. Violation of the access ban is considered a violation of the club's rules of order, and will be sanctioned accordingly.


Punishment for breaking a local rule: The general punishment. ("The general penalty" = Two penalty strokes in stroke play and lost hole in hole play)
